Tour Drumheller & Badlands

Explore the stark and arid landscapes of the Alberta Badlands and delve into the fascinating Dinosaur Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This full-day tour combines eroded canyons, unique rock formations, and an immersion in Canada's most important paleontological history, including a visit to the prestigious Royal Tyrrell Museum.

    Horseshoe Canyon / Horsethief Canyon

    A natural amphitheater that reveals multicolored layers of sedimentary rock formed over millions of years. In summer we visit Horseshoe Canyon; in winter, Horsethief Canyon, due to the weather conditions. It's one of the best viewpoints for understanding the magnitude of the Badlands.

    Canada's premier paleontology museum and one of the best in the world. It features complete dinosaur skeletons, research laboratories, and galleries showcasing life over 65 million years ago. Admission included.

    Free time in the center of Drumheller for lunch and to explore the local atmosphere. Just a short walk away is the World’s Largest Dinosaur, a 26-meter-tall structure with an indoor observation deck and panoramic views of the valley. Admission included.

    Unique rock formations sculpted by erosion over thousands of years. These natural columns, topped with harder rock, are one of Drumheller's most recognizable symbols and a perfect spot for memorable photographs.

    Rosedale Suspension Bridge

    Historic suspension bridge spanning the Red Deer River. It once connected miners to the work areas. Its metal structure and natural surroundings make it a picturesque and historically significant stop.
